The End Road

I write. I write for a living and for kicks.

I write press releases. I write articles. I write emails, texts, tweets and to-do lists. I left school aged 18 to study journalism, knowing I wanted to write. Twelve years on, I still haven’t quite figured out what I want to write.

My career has taken me from magazine journalism to editing and onwards into PR. I love my work but this blog is a personal exercise in exploration – an attempt to get back on track with writing and to find The Write Road.*

Please bear with me. By it’s very nature this blog is a work in progress – a journey, if you will.

So I’m not constantly flogging my own words, I’ll also use this blog to look at the work of authors and writers I admire and I’ll try to throw in a few fun things along the way, to lighten the mood.

*Disclaimer: Expect more puns of this ilk.
